Promotional videos - $350 - $2500+

Promotional videos help customers see, and hear, your business, event, or whatever you are promoting.  It’s a way to compare you to others.  If you have a video and they don’t, you are more likely to be contacted.  A promotional video is created in 3 stages: Concept, Shoot, and Edit.  Each is discussed below.

Concept

We will get together and figure out what you want in your video.  What is it about? Who are you trying to reach? Once you reach them what do you want them to do?

This will be a back-and-forth discussion between you and me.  This will allow us to create a script and shot list.  This is best done on location(s) so I can check out lighting, sound, and any obstacles we may encounter.  Once we have everything ironed out, we will figure out a day to do the shoot.  I will then figure out how to film the shots, so they go together well in post-production.

Shoot

This is the obvious part.  Lights, camera, action.  I will shoot all the scenes from the shot list we discussed in the concept stage.  There will likely be multiple takes of each shot.  This will give me more options in post-production.

Edit

This is where I take all the shots and audio and put them together to form the basic script that we came up with.  I will add visual and sound effects to make it look and sound better.  I will color grade it, adjust lighting and sound, create transitions between scenes, and add background music.  Once complete, I will upload it so you can watch it.

Your opinion matters, this is YOUR promotional video, so I want you to let me know if you want anything changed.  If you don’t, we’re done!  If you do want something changed, I’ll go back to the editing room and make it happen.

Promotional video pricing

Pricing is difficult without knowing what the project will entail.  When we first discuss your project, I will have a much better idea of how to price it.  I don’t like to charge per hour.  That leads to me rushing and not doing my best work.

Below you will find 3 projects I have done and what I charged for them.  Think of what your video would be like and compare it to one of them.  I have added some of the steps involved in making these videos, so you get an idea of the work behind the finished project.  Many of the steps are similar in each video since the process is basically the same no matter the complexity of the video. As a general rule of thumb, for every minute of video shot, I will spend three times that editing.
